The cornovirus put some in check in determining the frequency of washing hands. Washing your hands should be a habit not an occasional routine.
1. After toilet use
I can not tell you how many times I have witness individuals using public bathrooms and not washing their hands afterwards. Ewww… Cornovirus or no cornovirus wash your hands after using the bathroom!
2. Before, During and After preparing food
You don’t have to be a chef to wash your hands this many times when preparing meals. Not only do you wash your produce when making meals but also wash your hands. Youre collecting a lot of germs and if you don’t wash your hands before preparing meals, all those germs get transported to the food you are preparing.
3. When coming home
This is just a general rule in my home. Anytime a family member comes home, they myst wash their hands. This is because some are coming from school, after walking pets, or touching unsanitary objects outside the home.
4. Sometimes after coughing, sneezing or if you have a cold
This is partially excused. Soap and water may not be available after one coughs or sneezes, so one should keep a bottle of hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. You should also wash your hands more frequently if you are sick.
5. If your hands look or feel dirty
This goes without saying but if you got some dirt on your hands be sure to wash them.
Anyway, I hope you all learned a little from this article, and feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
